Hi Chad,

Is there a way to avoid duplicate trackbacks posting to the same blog. I ran TrackBacks Poster on 6/2/2010 and then again on 6/3/2010 and found that I had 2 trackbacks for the same keyword for those respective dates. Is there a way to automatically check against the "Detailed".csv file to see if a trackback for that keyword has already been posted?

Thanks,
Joel

Hi Charles,

I can use one copy of SEO Trackbacks finder and one copy of Scout with no problem on 1 IP address. Most likely if you run it on several computers at home, each computer will have the same IP address, unless you specifially have service from your internet provieder that gives a different IP to each computer on the net. This is highly unlikely though. So if you are Scout and SEO Trackbacks Finder from each of your 2-3 computers at home, good change you will get a banned from searching. So, what you want to do is stop all searching for 24 hours and run it only from one computer.

Thanks,
Chad

Chad,
I am running SEO trackbacks finder and Scout
at the same time.
probably all of us running this together
makes google ban the page where the soft is searching?

you recommend runnig
one scout and one finder per IP address?
even we have 2-3 computers?

thanks

Hi Fenderkid82,

There is such a debate on if you should post slowly or not. I can't really say how it works posting backlinks slow, but obviously it works for you and others. Myself, I just post them all at once, 150 to 200 backlinks and it works for me. I would not do anymore then 150 to 200 backlinks in a day though.

Thanks,
Chad

Hey there,
I've been using SEO Trackbacks for about 3 weeks now and it seems to be working very well. My question is about the # of links. If my site is less than a week old is it really safe for me to post 150-200 links at once? Currently I have been posting 20-40 everyday for the last three weeks.
Thanks,
James

HI hgp321,

That is totally normal with your virus alerts. The SEO Trackbacks finder has to crawl many pages to find trackback pages. The temptracksearch file is a temp file that SEO Trackbacks finder saves to parse the page information. It will delete the page automatically after its done searching the page for a trackback url.

Since SEO Trackbacks Finder does not open the pages in a Browser you won't get a virus from it, and it deletes the file right away after it's searched the page for a trackbacks url. If you want to disable your virus program searching the whole seo trackbacks folders for virus, you can. This way it can do its job faster without your alerts popping on all the time.

Thanks,
Chad
