Unfortunately I beg to differ, I do not own seo trackbacks and all of my promotions were done with Traffic x and hubpages.  My thoughts are closely in line with yours when you say that the owner of the blogs may be turning people in, but I also think that it may be some competitors as well. (just my opinion)
If you do a link analysis in yahoo site explorer you will easily find the links to your hubpages on the bottom of each post.  I think if there was a way to have the links directly in the content and the content was relevent, then it would not be considered spam.

Is it best know to have our own WPMU sites or go with  the old way of searching for MU hosts.
Could some explain the catchall to me like an idiot. How to step by step. I apologize but it i cant get any mail responses from Chad. I know he is busy with life at the moment.
Though if someone else could show me i would be very grateful.

dubhlinn:  There is a post somewhere on this site where a guy lays out his process for using catchalls.  I’m sorry, but this forum is such a mess that I can’t find it.  But I basically followed it to the T, and in conjunction with Keith’s catchall guide, which is pretty weak from an execution standpoint, I got my catchall system setup and working within an hour or two.
It was a post from back in May I believe- the guy mentions getting your .info domains from godaddy, then going over to hostgator for hosting and using the “add-on” domain feature.   Pretty easy to follow.

WOW! Thanks for the info., I would not have looked into the situation any further if you had not spoken up and I would have wasted my time building more hubs only to get busted again. I really thought it was the trackbacks causing the problem because the admin over at Hubpages sent me 6 or 8 links proving that I was spam commenting and they were all SEO Poster links. I guess they did not want to let all of the eggs out of the basket so they could bust me again. I think I am going to take my suspended hubs content and post it to my own products review site and allow that to grow over time.
 
@kcwnews I will have to make the hosting move soon but I have not made any decisions just yet because I am working on getting up a few auto-blogs on my last hosting account once they are up and running that account will be maxed out so I will have to make a decision. I am trying to clean up all these little spread out projects so I can get myself more organized and stay that way. Keep you posted.
 
I did throw up a simple 12 page/post blog on child safety 2 weeks ago and I then created an MU Blog Accounts file with about 3200 blogs and I have used those blogs in AAMX only posting products from the baby database and my site is in the 5th position for a decent keyword. Just a little strategy I wanted to try out and it appears to be working so now I will wait to see if it sticks.

It sounds like we all are having our issues here.  Has anyone heard from Chad?  I have 3 things I emailed him about over the past week and not have heard, I hope he is all right.
I can not get any verified MU host with 2.5.8.  Is any one else here.  I have 185 verified and 158 of them came from Chad.  I turned off my system for 24 hours and verifier just downloaded 6048 emails and read them over the past 3 hours and not one verified MU host out of the lot.  I am on my 3rd week with none of my blogger pages any where near the first page and either are my hubpages … if I put a link to one of my MU posts can some one take a look at it for me?

Taking a quick look at your anchortext keywords have left me a little bit confused as to what it is exactly you are trying to rank for.  If you are trying to get your properties ranked (IE Hubpages or Blogger Blog) then you will want to modify the keyword that you want to rank for to something more specific.

If I were trying to rank for a specific term, I would just use that term I thought was being searched on with out any terms before or after my primary keyword.  For example, if my primary keyword phrase was “Zhu Zhu Pet Num Nums” I would not add “Breaking News On Zhu Zhu Pet Num Nums Is Available Here to my actual anchortext,   I would only make the actual keyword “Zhu Zhu Pet Num Nums” a clickable link.   If I thought I must use the “breaking news on” and “Is available here” text with it, that text would not be clickable.
 

I think this method is very powerful when used correctly, it has also been called “Link Bombing”.  If you type in the keyword “miserable failure” or “click here” you will see what I’m talking about.  The keyword term “click Here” returns” Adobe-Adobe Reader” in the #1 position of the 1st page of the serps, and it’s been that way for years even though the keyword “click here” has absolutely nothing to do with Adobe”s pages.

The keword “miserable failure” was a test by a bunch of marketers to prove a point that a keyword in anchor and contextual linking style is considered a vote for a particular page even if that page isn’t well optimized for that term.

So, IMHO I think if you just use your actual keyword within your anchor text you will have a better chance of ranking for that keyword term and the fact that your pages will be relevant to your anchortext, you will see quicker and faster results.

feederma11:  I have a total of 274 verified MU hosts from Verifier.  I think 164 came from Chad and the other 110 I was able to find on my own by leaving checking base/verifier running for about 2 weeks straight.  I can tell you though that a lot of the blogs traffic base says I created don’t actually work.  I’ve manually gone to several of them and tried to login, with no success.  My advice is to use the “GVH” button, and just create as many blogs as possible on those hosts.

@tomjack: I had the same experience, only 10-20% of the blogs I’ve posted to are still alive after a week.  The amazon poster also gets hung up when it cant access the blogs so am having to restart it all the time and clean up blogs….so much for automation

Yes, this is alot more work than I bargained on but it is certainly alot easier than doing it manually. I went through 2500 and came up with 500 that were good.  I get leery about posting 24/7 because I don’t get that much traffic it seems.  I started using the ping software and I am hopefull.

Hey guys…I have been using traffic x for a couple weeks now and the software is running so slow on my computer. It took 5 days to find 5 MU hosts. Thankfully someone told me about the “GVH” button on base verifier. Well now Ive been running Traffic Base and making blogs and in 5 days I have only created 1500 blogs. Originally Chad said you should have 10k blogs in about 5 days. Anyone have any idea why its running soooooo slow? Any help would be amazing!

@anthonymink what virus software are you usineg? I have Mcafee and I noticed after the first few days that mcafee was going in and deleting my mu host files that were being created by the scout.. Not sure what else t may have been doing but i noticed that i would go to bed with only the scout runing and  about 8,000 mus and wake up tp find only a few hundred mus and a message tfrom mcafee that it remved a trojan… (in case you were wondering  there was no reset from checking base as it was off)… I disabled mcafee and the process ran faster…

I have a couple of quick questions about using Traffic X Suite 2.
 
When I post test articles (even Chad’s free articles) to my MU blogs, the title goes in the right place, but nothing shows up in the post body. What’s the correct article format for Traffic Multiplier? I’m not using anchor links because my links are embedded in the articles. Is that a problem?
 
If I setup my own MU network with 500 blogs per domain and 3,000 blogs sending backlinks to each money site, and each blog can be used for every money site, that means I need 6 domains. And, if we can put 2 domains on each C class IP, then I need 3 C class IPs. Why does Keith recommend that we get 30 C class IPs? Is there some limit to the number of times we can send links from a blog to a money site?
 
Keith mentioned that we should use blogger.com money sites because own own domains could get sandboxed if we send thousands of backlinks to it. Has anybody been sandboxed by using the Traffic X system on their own domains?

@kablyden i am using AVG (free version)  and i am turning it off to see how it runs. For whatever reason its just not making blogs for me! I restarted my computer earlier to day and turned everything on. In about 8 hrs traffic base has created about 2k blogs (just today) but when I go into base verifier it says i have 1636 total saved. This has been going on for 5 days. I have only created 1636 blogs in 5 days.
 
I am using windows vista and i believe I have about 2 gigs of ram, not sure if that matters or not but just throwning that out there. I have submitted 2 tickets to chad but havent heard back. I really want to get this software working and I am very optimistic that it will work, however its been almost 3 weeks now and I only have 177 MU hosts and 1636 blogs.
 
At this rate it will take months before I have enough to actually start posting. Please help!!!! Another thing…i have a very fast connection, i actually pay the cable company extra for the fasted connection they have. whenever i download anything i usually get anywhere from 1.4 to 2.o megs.

hey guys, I don’t want to bother chad since I know he’s tied up trying to get some tutorials together but wondered if anyone could help. I’ve been through the verifier process and created 1800 blogs which I wanted to use in the STS plugin. The problem is that I can’t find the MU Blog Account.txt file which must exist since Verifier is able to tell me the number of blogs I have.
I’m using version 2.5.8 and have checked the Traffic X Suite folder plus sub folders. I’ve also run a scan on my computer and not found it, I can only suppose it has been saved under a different name. If anyone has any ideas I’d love some help!
p.s. for those of you keen on setting up a network of blogs I’d be happy to get involved in that.

RGJ- I don’t remember where in the process you do this, but I believe you actually have to name the file “mu blog accounts.txt” and then you specify to verifier where the file resides.  I just keep mine in the traffic X folder for simplicity.  I’d recommend going back through and watching the video Chad made on using verifier- he clearly spells out when and where to place that file.

John I’m having the same problem with traffic x. The article are  just posting the title and not the article body. Is there a special format the articles are suppose to be in.

I have read Keith’s guide re: catchall, but find it really confusing. As i have not heard from Chad in an age since purchase. I had to contact Keith and he was quick to tell me
“My business runs on excellent support system. Its a priority of mine i will pass your mail onto Chad ASAP. You will have a response no later than 24/48 hours.
This was 2 days before they released Epic Traffic. Still nothing its a shame but a relief a little as I was just about to hop of the fence and go for epic traffic.
So Chad we know you are flat out busy i’m not taking digs but i would really like some support. Maybe a dopey dick easy to follow A-Z using your software programs.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the article body to show up in blog posts using Traffic X Multiplier. I have tried setting up TXM multiple times and the article title is the only part that shows up in the blog  posts. Is there a special format the articles need to be in.

There was talk about this on a different thread.  I was able to post using munch my articles but not with the 10,000 articles file.  I would suggest you post to the forum.

We are missing a lot of support on Traffic x. The Scout is working very fine but after that they are a lot of problems. Checking Base wont make any blogs. Missing captcha and proxy support. Or maybe something else is not right when you want to make the blogs. Please update to a very good version.
