Traffic X Suite 2 v2.5.5 Update -

Hi Everyone,

Here’s and update that fixes The Scout. Google changed their page and we could not search Google for blogs. So for those of you who noticed verified mu hosts were coming in slow, this is fixed.

Also, since Google was not searching Scout may have been searching yahoo too fast and you may have had a temp ban for searching yahoo. Also, resulting in no new blogs or verified MUs.

So, I suggest not searching with Scout for 24 hours if you’ve recently searched with it. Then install new version and and turn Scout back on.

Remeber, when updating you need to turn off every program in the Traffic X Suite 2 suite.

I know many of you want to do remote support, but I may have to schedule that later next week, and this also depends when our new baby comes. Which could be any day now. I will have to take a day or two off when this happens.

For those who have done remote supports with me before, you know they can last up to 3 hours! This takes much, much, much of my time. So for those of you who need remote support, please be patient as I try to schedule you in.

Hi Chad,

Thanks for the update. I found out today that ‘Scout’ is hanging when searching keywords on Yahoo. This was the issue with Google. Thanks.

I observed that it is not hanging for me but seems to loop on Google 3 or 4 times then moves onto bing. When it gets to Yahoo, it seems to loop indefinitely.
If I close and restart the program, it goes back to google and loop 3 or 4 times again and repeats the yahoo looping until I kill it.

Scout does nnot find any blogs at all after the update. Strange. What s up?

Hi Chad,
Just a concern about using the Google Trends setting on Scout. One thing I noticed using Seo Trackbacks was after using the Google Trends for Finder, all the blog posts that my trackbacks were posted to had 2-3000 other trackbacks on them. It seemed that all of us are generating the same list of blogs and posting trackbacks on them for all our sites.
If I use the GT’s setting on Scout will I end up getting a list of MU blogs that is the same as everyone else using the GT’s setting on Scout?
If this is the case then Google would identify the pattern pretty quickly and the shelf life of TMX would be short.
Would like to get your view on this.

Can you email me with more info, what method are you searching with, screen shot. Would help so i can pinpoint what the problem is.

Hi Laurnecedos,

Its most likely not a hang. When you see it searching google or yahoo and then checking url 1-10 this means its searching goole or yahoo for links, then its check those urls for the hosts signup page.

What its doing also is only taking 10 results at a time from google and yahoo.

So, let it run, it will stop. Yahoo is the longest to get through, but once done it will go to the next search engine with the next keyword.
